A new construction project is underway in downtown Phoenix, adding to the area’s booming construction industry. Arizona State University is excited to expand its Thunderbird School of Global Management Graduate School with a new building at its downtown campus.
The Details
In 2014, the Thunderbird of Global Management ended up merging with Arizona State University. Since then, the two have worked on expanding the program and are now ready to start their transformation with the new state of the art building. Construction has officially started on the high-tech building, which is planned to be 5 stories and the building has an estimated cost of $75 million. Students and visiting leaders along with visiting government officials will be able to benefit from this building as they will be able to collaborate in real-time using virtual reality suites and language immersion technologies.
The building aligns with the school’s global vision and will bring in more programs to offer enhanced classes and resources to students and faculty. It is scheduled to open in 2021, which happens to be the 75th Anniversary of the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
